Project details
During project implementation, our developers significantly modified Liferay’s standard functionality by extending and updating its features such as Liferay Core Portlets, Web Content List and Web Content Display.
The data import mechanism was another addition to Liferay’s standard functionality. Most of the content enters the portal without manual input. The data is retrieved from the customer’s previous database.
A standard method of data publication and role assignment has been changed. The standard Liferay functionality has been enhanced with an option to preset a certain number of pages on which content is to be published. The processes of role-based rights assignment and user group-based search have been improved.

Flexible and easy to administer web portal for educational institutions.
The portal allows any school representative to access the latest news, obtain information and schedules, download materials, communicate via the portal forum, etc. The portal is flexible and easy to administer. The supplied solution simplifies the management tasks for school principals, secretaries and HRM departments, i.e. users with the appropriate roles can access the lists of school staff and possible candidates for vacancies, the school note and others.

The aim of the project was to create a platform for educational institutions to provide a quick and easy way to the latest news and developments.
